Day opportunities

The work centres around enabling adults/elderly to occupy themselves during the day in a range of meaningful activities. Your job could be based at a resource centre or the work may be based at the persons home. Depending on the individuals choice and need you may be teaching basic life skills and independent living skills; such as using public transport and using the telephone.

You will be involved in supporting people accessing local colleges, employment schemes and a variety of activities in the community, such as swimming and horse riding.
