Qualifications

Experience of working in care is always useful as are qualifications in care but if you do not have either of these then you can still apply. Some of the most successful carers have come from completely different backgrounds - anything from engineering to bringing up a family at home. You must have patience and sensitivity, be willing to learn and have good communication skills. You also need to be trustworthy and reliable.
